EUDAMED: the European database on medical devices will consist of 6 modules, the first of which- “actor registration module” is live now for all actors such as competent authorities, notified bodies, manufacturers and importers to submit request for actor registration. However, several competent authorities, e.g., Swissmedic and MHRA are excluded from the current actor registration due to the ongoing political process.
